Currently at my church that we attend, we are doing a fundraiser to earn money for a mission trip we are going on in June of this coming summer. We are selling cookie, soup and drink mixes in jars. All of the dry ingredients needed are layered up in a jar and we sell them for 10 dollars each. there are several cookies mixes, there are tree soup mixes and there are four different kinds of hot coco. Last year me and my siblings were able to raise about 2000 dollars worth of jars and this year we are planing to try and sell even more.This year’s mission trip is to Kansas city.

I strongly disagree with the idea of cheating with someone is okay as long as it is something small. This goes for both married people and people who are just dating. If you are married it is even worse because you made a commitment to that person during your marriage and anyone who you let step between you is an issue and you are breaking that promise that you made. It even says in the bible on the ten commandments, you shall not covet your neighbors wife. With another example in the Crucible, John could not recite the commandment about adultery because he was full of guilt. We want to say that little things are okay just so we feel better. We can’t just make loopholes to try and make ourselves less accuse-able.

Holding the truth is not the same thing as telling a lie. When you tell a lie, it can cause more harm to a person than it can when you hold the truth. You can lead someone into thinking or doing something that is not right when you tell them a lie, but if you just hold the truth, then you don’t let that person into risk for anything and if you were caught lining, it would be more severe in the eyes of others than if you were to hold the truth. That doesn’t mean that holding the truth is a good idea or OK to do. The only reason you should lie of hold the truth is when you give a white lie or the reasoning behind it is to keep from someone from being hurt of you don’t want to hurt them.

The Government of America divides the federal government into three congress divisions to avoid empowerment of one group. The legislative, the judicial and the executive branch. these groups decide on laws that are approved by each court. In terms of the type of government. we have a democracy. the president then makes decisions that are approved by congress. this government works very well for a state of freedom and liberty. When compared to the government of the witch trials, I would say they are fair. Like in the Witch trials, witches are accused all the time and a lot of those times are sh-early out of hatred from one person to another. like when Abigail accused Rebecca nurse because she didn’t like her. this is unfair, but unlike this, our system of government is fair, but because it is fair more people have the freedom to debate for their own political party. This is what brings debate and people arguing over other parties.

I am getting to the age where I am looking for my own car. I am 16 about to turn 17 and I am bullheaded on finding one particular car. I’m not going to complain with an car that I might be given but if i’m looking for one myself I am going to get a 2005 Mustang GT. They are not very expensive and you can find them on auto selling websites from 4,000 to 7,000 dollars. Not too bad. I love Mustangs and it is a dream to be able to drive and own one. I especially love the look of the 2005 to 2007 models. It truly expresses the mean and aggressive look of american muscle. I go to car shows and at them I look for mustangs and the mods that people put on them. I would also like to mod and work on my own car to make it that perfect car for me.

In Act 1 of the Crucible, there are many things that happen. The act takes place in Parris’s room where his daughter is knocked our from some mysterious illness. Reverend Parris saw Betty dancing in the woods with some other girls and they are being accused of witchcraft. Abigail who is Parris’s niece was also there along with Tituba who as a servant. Ann Putnam’s only surviving daughter also was apart of it and was also experiencing a mysterious illness. eventually Two women are left alone with Betty, named mercy and Mary. Betty blurts out that Abigail drank chicken blood in an attempt to cast a spell that would kill Elizabeth Proctor, in which Elizabeth is married to john Proctor with is having an affair with Abigail.

I do feel like shaming punishments work but there are some side affects and consequences that come from shaming not only to the the person who committed the act to be shamed upon. In terms of correcting the person, it works. As long as the person did something wrong and you are correcting them it would work. But if the person is being shamed for something they can’t help like their smarts or appearance then shaming is not acceptable. There are some side affects to it though. Shaming someone I feel like takes more effort for the judge or parent to go through. Also being shamed upon is internally destructive to a person depending on how severe it is. It can be too much is some situations.

Every day people judge each other on the fact that something is not normal or is different than the norm of society. Some believe that this is appropriate and society justifies their judgement. But I believe that society does not have that right. It is no different than judging someone one on one. Just because you are out in public or feel like everything should stay in the public’s norm, does not mean that judging other people is OK. It should be specifically for how people act, like unspoken rules. But there are some situations where it might be OK. It would only be OK it it was some extreme like robbing a bank, or harassing in public.

On Wednesday of this week, I went to the orthodontist to go for my scheduled adjustment of my braces. Only this time, I was getting springs put in. These springs are the worst thing that has ever happened to me. They are supper uncomfortable and they are so unnatural when it comes to moving my mouth, eating, or even talking. It will take a long time to adjust to them. one the bright side, though I look like the terminator and everyone else at home, school and even the gym will agree.

Ethan was the definition of determination and desire to lead a successful life. From spending 22 and a half hours at the gym each week, getting homework and school work accomplished with excellent grades, the drive to lead a good live was number one on Ethan’s list. He wanted to be the best, he didn’t want to settle for the bare minimum, he wanted to go above and beyond. He could do things that most of anyone else could never do. He wanted to be different, to stand out of the crowd and his state of mind and determination explicitly displayed that. Apart from being a determined and motivated kid, he was very smart, friendly and kind to everyone.
